I started out being a die-hard rezzbian but her fanbase is a bit too much and she's been a little disappointing the last 2 times I saw her. Her sound is cool but there are times that her shows are a little... boring

Not even gonna touch on the mainstream ones like Marshmello or The Chainsmokers because that's too obvious.

My hot take is Excision. I think his productions no longer stand out from the millions of other brostep producers out there. And that's not a dig at dubstep, there's just a ton of really good producers out there right now and quite frankly I think Excision is falling behind the curve. There's a reason his two biggest tracks in the last year have been collabs with an artist (Space Laces) who is killing it in the more "underground" scene. That's where the talent is now, the big name bass guys like Excision, Slander, NGHTMRE... all overrated at this point. They aren't doing anything that is objectively better than dudes that are way below them in terms of popularity. They're just riding a brand which seems to be the theme in the scene as of late.

Personally, I think Excision is quite overrated as a DJ. His visuals are impressive I'll give him that, but I just can't get behind his track selection or the way he mixes. It all kinda blends into one, generic dubstep song for me after a while. If he gave the crowd more time to breath I think I enjoy his sets more, but then again, personally I'm quite picky when it comes to dubstep so it might just be that.

个人来说，我觉得Excision作为DJ来说确实过誉了。他的视觉特效让人印象深刻，这有一说一，但我不喜欢他mix歌的方式以及选曲。把所有的曲子放到一起，如果他给听众们更多休息时间，那我会更喜欢他的set一点。对我来说，我对dubstep太挑剔了。

Marshmello, I think that he is shit and he is only famous because of his creative helmet and because the best djs like Alesso, Calvin Harris and Zedd aren't making great music right now!

Vini Vici. 10-20 seconds of someone else's hit, then fill the rest off with his signature beat. Repeat for about an hour and a half. That's basically his set.
